My mother said that when she read it in school agxtha was the title it was printed under. I found that the mystery itself was fantastic. Did anyone else not agatga like this book? Three little Soldier boys walking in the zoo; A big bear hugged one and then there were two.
I’ve never read an Agatha Christie novel, watched tons of TV and movies based on her books. I found the book trying too hard to stimulate excitement, and turn into a page turner. In that way, the strongest thing about this mystery turned out to be the same thing that made the mystery predictable for me.

It’s written well with an accurate insight on hu And Then There Were None is one of Agatha Christie’s most celebrated mystery novels, and purportedly one of the most difficult for her to write. This one was clearly a miss. Two little Indian Boys sitting in the sun; One got frizzled up and then there was one.
That’s alright, it’s still good good stuff! One little Indian boy left all alone; Negrrinhos went and hanged himself and then there were none. And then I wasn’t. I find it so amazing how alive her characters become.
And Then There Were None and Selected Plays by Agatha Christie
In case of people tormented by their own conscience about their deeds, he ends the suffering of these people quickly. This was gripping and like I was hooked.
Anyways, those were small issues and I really enjoyed the book in general! Nine little Indian boys sat up very late; One overslept himself and then there were eight.
Each of them has a secret in their murky past, and I must admit when I found out what they were, I reckoned they deserved to be scared out of their wits. But her omniscient narrator then goes on to christue the inner thoughts of nine of the players.
This one had me guessing until the very end and even then I read back to see what I missed! This is one of Christie’s most famous mysteries, and it is a wondrous creation.
I felt that it was only right for me to approach the reading of it in an equally disciplined way. What would you do if fhristie were invited to nehrinhos place raved about everywhere, a place where your friend, someone you met once, your colleague, or some old pal invited to you to? She would use foreshadowing and clues to hint you towards the next person who will die or who the murderer is, but then she surprises you with an unexpected twist.
This one had me guessing until …more That’s exactly what I like about it.
Probably the most disappointing part of my experience, I was not impressed with the conclusion of this mystery. Overall, this was a great book.
All in all, it was a pretty enjoyable murder mystery. There was no fear there now. The story gets spookier gradually as each soldier dies leaving lesser and lesser remnants agathaa hope.
O Caso dos Dez Negrinhos
Christie’s travels with Mallowan contributed background to several of her novels set in the Middle East. Right from the start, captured my interest!
Counting the couple, there are now ten people effectively abandoned on the island, given that the boat that has brought them has returned to the mainland and will not be coming back to the island for several days due to rough seas. The story was simply carved, the murderer quite predictable being the only one with a strong motive. Think Gilligan and company on their three hour tour, but instead of getting shipwrecked in a storm, Maryanne turns into a homicidal maniac.
I was hoping her writing still struck me the same and was gifted this agayha copy of this book. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. However, the books worst failing is that they have nothing serious to say about the powerful themes that are at the very heart of the story.
The characters are forgettable. Is justice the chridtie, or simply a “lust” to torture and kill? Christie is just going out of her way to draw our attention away from the most logical suspect. This would have been better had I not spoiled myself like an idiot. There’s two female characters and It wasn’t until a little over half way that I actually remembered which female 2. Anyone know why they changed it?
