The addition of chicken manure to the wood had an effective impact on biogas yield. In regard to corn stover, alone or mixed with anaeerobna, it was found that more biogas was produced when they were not pre-treated with fungus, and that the highest amount of biogas was produced from pure corn stover.

It was discovered that slightly more biogas was produced during the anaerobic digestion of pre-treated wood tham during that of non pre-treated wood. Write a review Rate this item: This diploma work presents a study regarding the impact of the pre-treatment of lignocellulosic materials with fungus Trametes Versicolor fungus, and the presence of lignin at different ratios, on the resulting amount of biogas produced during the process of anaerobic digestion.
The amount of generated biogas was measured with water displacement technique. The progress of anaerobic digestion and biogas formation were monitored as well as temporal variations of the lignin content in those lignocellulosic materials pre-treated by fungi and during the anaerobic digestion process.
