I’m finally done with this book? He was power hungry from almost literally page 1, but in such an obvious way that he wasn’t even threatening or interesting, just kind of mildly annoying.
This is the last book or volume of the series and I was happy i wasn’t too disappointed. Over the course of 4 books, Cate Tiernan wove quite the intricate plot, and then the big showdown is I would have liked a little more romance but the story was interesting enough that I still ended up liking the series.
Thais was the only character to me, who improved with every book. You know, the one that sucks your shoe off, so you try and get it back out, but then you try and get it out and your foot gets stuck.
And then of course there’s my dark side, but more on that later. I’ve got to start studying.
I didn’t like how abrubtly the book ended. After eight years I was ready for a change, and my husband and I moved back cste New Orleans. More about Cate Tiernan.
