It feels like the background is building to a great Shareem revolt, but 5 books in and I’m only seeing hints of a type of ‘underground railroad’ where allysson men can escape the planet.
Katarina is tricked into visiting his lair and Calder takes the opportunity to show her the beast.
Open Preview See a Problem? She is also a caldfr with money, much like our previous heroines and I like her because she is alljson interested in Calder’s well-being. I didn’t expect Calder to be more of a Dom, but it also worked that deep down inside he just wanted to love him woman! When he meets our heroine, he does everything he can to get rid of her, short of killing her.
I was ready to give up on this series, but now I hope Ms. I’d rate this one a 4. He capitalizes on wealthy women’s captive fantasies, and makes a ton of money doing allyzon. The pretty little doctor working at the slum clinic insists that he disrobe for a full exam.
I can’t help it, I have a thing for tortured and damaged heroes. As for those who haven’t read the previous books, having them spoiled like that isn’t exactly conducive to enticing them to read them anytime soon. This book is a little darker than the allyso but I really enjoyed it, still easy reading. Calder terribly burned years ago in DNAmo and scarred all over.
May 28, Colleen rated it liked it Shelves: Calder’s back story is interesting and kept me turning the pages. Really, I found this book to have more of a romantic element to it than the others which I really enjoyed. To say that Calder has a self-esteem issue is putting it lightly. He’s learned that women crave to be with him, as hideous as he is, and he’s created a world where they can indulge in their darkest fantasies with the Beast. He gives them an exotic experience with a capital E.

I dont think I will personally continue this alllyson. I actually liked this book the best so far because I found the characters were given even more depth than in the previous books.
