I mean it was explained but not supported. That said, I continuously dropped my rating.
This was a wonderful love story between Brice and Terryn. He’s exactly the type of man that’s been starring in her dreams and she can’t believe he’s standing in front of her asking to ‘play’.
I also liked the suspense even though I figured out who was the villain right away. New York 6 books. While I liked the book, it was missing the whole “relationship building” for me I didn’t like it.
The review must be at least 50 characters long. I didn’t really understand once the story was completed what the motivation was behind the murders.
The second story in this series involves Brice Marshall, cousin of Cade Marshall who was introduced in the first book. This is seriously hot hot hot!!!!
Damaged Goods (New York, #2) by Lainey Reese
Lainey Reese did an excellent job of writing this novel, especially with such a time gap between releases. Damzged book is the epitome of give and take—hence the ‘BDSM’ theme. Just read this a second time and still love it. With all the stress of his Detective work, he goes to the club for fun. The connection between Brice and Terryn is strong.
Brice helps her through that grief. There’s no doubt about it Sadly, this was not going to happen though. We meet up with the folks from the first and they are pretty hot too! Aug 22, Temple rated it really liked it Shelves: Brice is a New York police detective and is also a Dom.
Loved how the threesome from the first book played into damage one. He owns a club with his cousin and friend where he goes and plays. I liked the chemistry that Terryn and Brice had, it seemed like right from the start they were ready for each other and knew the encounter would be more than one night. The New York series continues to be a favorite of mine, especially with the addition of Damaged Goods and I can’t wait to see what is next!!
We also have the fab secondary characters of Gage and Kent. As with the first one, things moved very quickly, both in terms of the relationship as well as clearing up the case. Aug 23, Nikki rated it really liked it Shelves: Terryn is young, beautiful, and very curious about about BDSM and what it means to be submissive.

I don’t know much about the club scene, but after reading It takes all of two seconds before Brice’s eyes land on Terryn. He came across as protective, commanding and devoted; overall a gorgeous alpha male character without the arrogance!
I did find it a tad predictable though and had the killer IDed early on. Then it turns out Terryn works for Riley, Cade and Travis – for most people playing sexy shower games with famaged bosses would be awkward, but not here. Published August 21st by Samhain Publishing, Ltd.
Brice and Terryn were perfect together. Brice was absolutely a dom to die for. At Kobo, we try to ensure that published reviews do not contain rude or profane language, spoilers, or any of our reviewer’s personal information.
