Instead she’s inexplicably drawn to Ben Dec 17, Kyla rated it liked it Shelves: When I read the first part of your review I totally thought Twilight, but it sounds like this book is totally different and while it has some blaring similarities it takes a definite different route.
I don’t think you’l be disappointed in the least. It’s easy to see that he honestly likes Camelia. And it’s not just her, most of the characters are the same way, the indecisive stupidity of them is ridiculous. There were a few things I had a hard time suspending belief over.
These books used to leave me with chills, regretting reading them so late at night, and debating to sleep with the light on.

Stolarz skillz dedaly a writer. There is also a lot of love angst–Camelia’s first love, Ben, is tryin I absolutely love these books! Can’t explain that without giving the only cool element of the book away. She finds the house veadly little too easily. I could tell that he’s a different person from the second book. BUT something happens at the end that caused me to reconsider him. Until I was like, you know what, I remembered liking some things about it and so finally picked it up again. They’ve met before when Ben saved Camelia’s life.

I really liked this. The ‘Deadly Little’ series could be a portrayal of average teenage life, except that its more intense elements cut the plausibility of the series short. I know that’s really unfair.
