olliver I feel like my stomachs dropped and have a serious case of the end-of-series-blues. So stop, just stop, your attempt at being Scottish is pathetic. But the Grand Masters have something else in mind and Riley is to travel with Beck back to his hometown and help him bury his mother.
I doubt that it deserves better than a 1 star. Amazing is the only word that comes close to how I feel about this book! I was really hoping I would, but I didn’t. Thanks for telling us about the problem. It was only like one or two tears anyways.
Foretold Quotes by Jana Oliver
Instead Jana Oliver throws these two together every chance she gets and forces them to finally work some things out olived and for all. Don’t get me wrong, I love my “backwood’s boy”, I just didn’t connect with him like I have in the other books.
And I have to say, I think the way Jana Oliver ended it was spot-on awesome. However, I did always believe that he had feelings for Riley, which made him make janq of the decisions he did. So how is Riley doing in this book? I loved the action.
firetold View all 6 comments. Riley got to know more about him and how hard bt life in that town. As usual nothing is quite what it jwna and you will be shocked by some of the events that take place.
This series has been one of my favourites. I can’t really say, “He’s not the same guy,” because duh, obviously, he’s not, but I was expecting this insight would just make me say “awww” and totally melt for him. May 15, Sandra “Jeanz” rated it it was amazing. After their passionate kiss before the big battle in the cemetery, Beck is back to treating her like a little girl, as if nothing ever happened. Hoffe darauf, dass irgendwann der ideale Zeitpunkt eintrifft.
Es ist auf jeden Fall gut, einen Abschluss hinter die Geschichte zu stellen.
Your display name should be at least 2 characters jans. So we join Riley with a cast of unforgettable characters into a world of loss, betrayal, deceit, lust, love, hope, misery, friendship and a whole shit load of danger.
I was in WH Smiths i’d already chosen a bunch of books to buy fretold forsaken caught my eye. It was good getting to know more about Beck but I would have preferred if it didn’t take over half the book to explore his past. That whole Sartael vs Lucifer thing didn’t make sense.
It was disgusting how Forftold judged his mother for sleeping around, one of the main reasons he thought she was bad mother was because of her sex life yet he slept around just as much as his mother and he didn’t think any less of himself.
There were some serious chocolate needed moments to help me get through.

But uana is not trying to hear that because h Riley is in for forerold fight of her life. The investigation of the murders in Beck’s hometown didn’t really fit into the rest of the series – it added nothing to the overarching storyline from book 1. Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. The second half had everything that the first half lacked that I loved so much about the whole series – kick-ass action battling demons, an intriguing complex world of angel politics though it took me a while to remember all the details that totally sucks you in, the involvement of the Grand Masters and others in demon trapping, the uncertainty that leaves you guessing what people’s true intentions are and what side they were actually on, and of forettold, that chemistry between not only Riley and Beck but that connection with all the other characters that are involved in their lives.
I used to love this series but it has gone downhill for me mainly because of the name calling and double standards thoroughout the series – I didn’t notice it at first but having re-read the series it’s becomes more and more apparent. Was immer ich auch vom letzten Band erwartet hatte: Excited to spend more time with Riley and my favourite YA hottie Beck but terrified that I wouldn’t like the way things ended and that the book wouldn’t live up to my crazy high expectations.
Her ability to deal with the situations she finds herself in is a stark contrast to the impetuous, anger driven girl we first encountered. And I hate crying.
