Greetings all, I am trying to use fscommand in a Flash file to open a through a batch file. The ActionScript in my Flash movie is attached to a button. One solution to get around the limitations of the EXEC fscommand is to create one exectuable file for each file that you want to open, but what can you do if you don’t know how to make EXE files? And this is the code. This fscommand folder must be located in the same directory as the Flash projecter file that issues the fscommand call. I have problem opening external exe file by clicking a button in Flash projector. Do you have to use Flash Projector?
Yes unfortunately I have to use Flash Projector. If the specified file is not found in the fscommand folder, it won’t run.

You don’t have to store the files you want to open in the fscommand folder, but for your first test this makes things easier. You have just a little mistake in the path of the opened exe, so you should write: Post as a guest Name. It’s easy to fsclmmand and it’s free. I also wanted to say thanks, this helped me also solve a problem I was having. Fsconmand it works, probably wrong syntax of giving folder path. It’s probably used in their other installers as well, I just don’t have them.
All times are GMT I need to open two different pdf files placed in the fscommand folder. I don’t know why a flash projector can not open another one!!
Sounds like a big breakthrough. Next, it might be a good idea to tell Flash about this. The last restriction doesn’t really concern us, but if you’re trying to test your EXEC calls, being aware of it will save you some frustration.
