The heroine Louisa is so nice and perfect even though her father killed himself due to Like they are perfect except for one thing. Simon, on the other hand, tries to deny his attraction to Louisa because he ultimately believes that she deserves better than what he can give her. Heroine Louisa Shelby is coaching Georgie to come out of her shell.
She backed against the wall and remained quiet, feeling like she was intruding on the man’s privacy. I probably could have done without Louisa’s setup reputation, however its purpose was clear, and it did move the story to its conclusion. Really like the fact that no bedrom happen like in similar novels but things still have the fairy tale happy ending.

Before she was even halfway down the table, the kitchen door ahead of her opened. The Epilogue was sweet. His sense of humor matches Simon’s and was very refreshing.
But Louisa – who had berroom a ladies’ companion to earn money – doesn’t feel useful just going to live with her sister. He was the one getting lucky with the ladies. There is no synopsis on the back. I would recommend this story for a solid romance read. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. He could kiss her, and he would not be the first. Her life is just so perfect as we are told over and over but she is missing a certain zest for something. She closed her eyes to be one with him in the darkness again.
Then too, timeline issues pulled me out of the narrative flow as well. This is what I live with every day. You see inside me where others only see what they want to see.
The fact that the hero, while blind, wasn’t brooding and too “woe is me” was nice. Adored Manvil the valet visclunt Georgie what a sweetie, def to read again. What did I like? That business about “Louisa’s scandalous reputation’ was total nonsense and the more he brought it on, the more pissed I got. Her thoughts were scattered and restless, and after midnight, she finally donned a dressing gown.
I might be exaggerating a tiny bit but he is still annoying.
