Actually, I have bought this book in the hope of getting some spine chilling horror but this book is just a collection of folklore mended with work of fiction. Pages with related products. The stories are neither interesting nor scary.

The stories start with the fast paced ‘Angrez Churail’ which attacks you in the face right from the word go with its beautifully terrifying description of an oncoming doom.

The terrific bone of ghost and their past life are something which makes me read ghost stories. The writing style is very narrative and I found my self in some situations partly because I belong to Shimla and could easily connect with the places mentioned. Having lived in Shimla for some time, these ghost ruskn are almost folklore in the hills and the locations are pretty real.
