This book gave very thoughtful, real world advice on being sensuous with your husband, and why a healthy, loving physical relationship between husband and wife is pleasing to God. At times one of the narrators seemed a bit condescending, b I’m not married yet, but I found this book very helpful. I think they might have gone a little too deeply into the spiritual aspect of sex, but just a few sentences which make me raise my eyebrows?

It is grounded in Scripture, but draws from real experiences and is honest and real about issues that we all deal with As a Biblical Counselor, I recommend this book as a conversation starter for older women discipling younger married women, or for a woman who doesn’t have that older godly woman in her life.
Being raised in a very conservative Christian home, the marriage relationship was not discussed, and I never took the time to study God’s Word to find out what He had to say.
No one looks like those models.

She taught wo Linda Dillow is no stranger to publishing and adventure. The authors start off by building a foundational understanding of what sex is and what God thinks about it as found in Scripture. It also invites self-pity and therefore sin. I appreciate their hard work to compile a comprehensive book about sex that is biblical, appropriate, and God-glorifying.
Creative and not shy at all about a subject that is either not spoken of or blasted from your tv set every day. Instead, muffled sobs filtered through the receiver. It’s a dilpow reminder to cherish one’s husband, placing him second in priority only to God, and explains in detail why sex issues so important between a husband and wife.
This book was recommended to me by a friend as something I should read before getting married. I respect the author’s attempt at bringing up taboo topics within the church but wish we still didn’t carry such a shameful approach to sex iissues general.

I look forward to studying further the passages of God’s Word that are referenced in the book and someday to experiencing the joy of intimacy with my own husband. They actually say that man lida created with a need sex and woman was created to fill that need. But we should never hold up the Playboy bunny or the Victoria Secret model as a standard for beauty.
They deal with heavy topics such as pornography and the affect of abortion, to recapturing passion, and pinda not okay in the marriage bed. For those who desire to become more like Christ in every area of their life this is a “must read”. The questions covered a broad area of material from a medicalemotional, and spiritual perspective. Intimmate are no discussion topics on this book yet. It starts with their understanding of Genesis and the two creation accounts described.
We are experiencing technical difficulties. Every married woman should read this!! This is just setting her up for a lot more hurt. Even the “spicy cut-open” section of the book was like “leave love notes around the house, then feed him chicken and rice, and you’re the dessert! Feb 04, Elizabeth Oates added it. She also hit on a lot of the sections in the epistles 1 Cor 7 ie, “Do it all the time” that I’ve noticed but no one ever talks about.
The book is about 21 questions Christian women ask about sex. But it’s not only about sex.
This fire for encouraging and educating others continues as she speaks at women’s conferences here and abroad. I wish I would’ve found this book 10 years ago when it was first written. Before you can help him, you must make sure your own thinking is right.
