The advice you’ve been given is sound jxr theoretically the behringer amp will power 2 a side of those but you’d be much better off with a second GX5 actually, a GX3 is probably a better fit for those subs. After using it for all of those years, it never had a single problem and that is generally what you get with JBL.
The sound of this sub is very clean, the low tones are full and rich and when you use it with some good speakers it will just complete the sound and work for any style of music.
A wiser course of action, IMO. If this is the case, Could I try using the behringer ep amp to drive the subs as it can run W at 2 ohms per channel and then use the 4 ohm QSC GX5 amp to power the tops.
