I recommend this book to anyone who likes realistic, emotional stories. And then she meets Guy, a boy as sensitive and complicated as she is. She judged them before julis could judge her. You know it’s bad when you can’t work up much sympathy for a character who’s just lost her parents.
The desperation of a person who needs to feel pain to be able to deal with emotional traumas is serious and this book brings that out and I think, gives the readers a better understanding as to why.

Andy’s only purpose was to share some unneeded conversation about rowing and provide some idiotic comments for Willow to feed upon. That just really annoyed me. He was charming and caring. But then comes the real kicker. Cutting is a painful, yet practical thing for someone who is trying to escape their reality or sad situation.

If there are two people on the other side of the school yard wilkow to each other and both seem oblivious of her presence, then it’s still about how she killed her parents. Even if the razors are safety-wrapped, what genius thinks that’s okay?
Very melodramatic, as was Willow.
And I swear, I gasped and got goosebumps. It was so unrealistic and lived up to none of the potentials a book on a topic like self-harm has. I try to keep my insult-level to wi,low low, but the aggravation this book caused me to endure was like no other. People will always judge you for them unfortunately.
This is okay and common? Guy in particular is someone I would never, ever want to meet in real life based on the actions I will ennumerate below, and since this is wiillow least partially meant to be a romance, I am more than a little certain the author would not want me to feel that way.
I did not like Willow. With Willow, I found I was able to relate to the thoughts of being parentless and that feeling of abandonment. Guy is an interesting character.
Even so, I’ve still got hhoban tremendous problem with Guy, which is this: She has also said that Steven Levenkron ‘s Cutting was an influence on the book. It has both negative and positive elements and it is too heart wrenching to pass up.
