As tkrr-750 have noted, about the only alignment required is the trk-750 front end in the RX. Take it out and you have the same sensitivity of the Kenwood. Kenwood makes a great repeater. FM VHF repeater eknwood cw controler build in. Optional for situations where extra protection during transportation is required. Just asking for it to be blown out as I’ve seen time and time again. Includes one cable for radio connectivity. They seem as reliable. We have ours set to 25 watts, since they can run nearly constantly in our type of link service.
The Kenwood software is excellent.
